Nursery sector loses a well-known figure with Renato Canale’s death
Renato Canale, the driving force behind Europlants and a leading figure in the nursery industry for almost 60 years, has died aged 78.

so sad to hear the news of Renato very lovely person and his wife as well first knew him at Stuart Low houseplants in Enfield then Euro plants he suppled Fosters garden centre for a long time then did a small amount of plants at Mere Park Newport

My father was a florist and I recall as a young boy in the late 1970's visiting Stuart Low. I recall Renato clearly in my mind as an " important person" and he was always a nice chap.

Renato will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with his family, friends and the team at Europlants and Vannucci Piante. I spent many happy days with Renato and Brigitte at Europlants and visiting Vannucci Piante with him and will always remember the day spent sightseeing and watching a cycle race in Florence.
